Celebration at St Asaph Cathedral

To end our 25th birthday year we held a celebration at St Asaph Cathedral on the 22nd November. NEWCIS was chosen to be one of the supported charities by the Cathedral to hold their event free of charge. Flint Male Voice Choir kindly provided the entertainment for the evening.

Carers were invited to share their stories and writings about NEWCIS and caring

Stella penned a wonderful letter as she and her late husband had been part of NEWCIS from the beginning. You can read Stella’s letter here.

Steven Scorer kindly wrote two poems and a short story depicting the role of a carer. You can read them here.

Funds raised

The evening was a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The night raised £813 for carers in crisis.
