You don’t need to be a carer to volunteer with us and we offer flexible and voluntary work in a variety of roles and locations. You would be joining a friendly and welcoming team and would be valued and fully supported in your role - training can be offered to enhance your volunteering role.

Roles include shop floor sales and merchandising, stock room assistance, deliveries and collections.
General office duties – getting stock for kitchen (tea/coffee, biscuits), keeping office tidy, shredding, scanning and photocopying.
Managing leaflets – restocking, tidying, disposing out of date material.
Maintaining information boards
Filling stationary pigeon holes with templates, envelopes, time-sheets, etc
Creating information packs.
Answering the phones.
Creating posters and literature.
Leaflet drops and putting up posters around local community.
Assist with labeling envelopes, franking and packing.
Deliver newsletter to local businesses and organisations.
Entry of volunteer hours onto database.
Scanning and Photocopying.
Check volunteer database to see if everyone is still active and wanting to be included in future events etc.
Registering carers on system and sending and action to one of our wellbeing officers.
Creating a carers corner for our website and ensuring it is up to date.
Taking information to local businesses.
Taking donations tins and collecting them.
Supporting with any craft and fundraising items needed.
Running events for fundraising in local community.
Provide a listening ear to carers at the drop in’s and support groups.
Help out at the Memory Cafes.
Supporting a Talking Point in the community.
