Dying Matters Week 2021

This year, the week will focus on the importance of being in a good place to die.

Dying Matters Week 2021

During Dying Matters Awareness Week, we’re joining in to open up the conversation around death, dying and bereavement. Getting there means having some important conversations and taking some careful decisions.

This #DyingMattersWeek lets normalise talking about death, dying and bereavement. At NEWCIS, we’re here to support unpaid carers and we know that feeling prepared to communicate and fulfil your loved ones wishes is important.

NEWCIS have specific services and hold regular courses for planning for end of life. Our upcoming courses include dealing with bereavement and grief as well as a free legal advice workshop where you can enquire about Wills.
Caring for someone at end of life can be exhausting and emotional. It is important to pay attention to your own health and wellbeing and not to be afraid to ask for help. As an organisation that is committed to supporting unpaid carers, we’re here to listen and can signpost you to the most appropriate services to your individual circumstances.
