“Welcome to our Summer issue and can I say a big thank you to all of you who attended the launch of our new premises in March. There were over 200 visitors that attended and the Major of Mold Cllr Brian Lloyd officially opened the building where all NEWCIS services are now based as well as our fantastic new charity shop. The High Sheriff of Clwyd, Karen Farrell-Thornley also kindly attended so my thanks to both Brian and Karen for supporting our opening and making the event such a success.”

Carers Week is on 9 – 15 June. Carers Week is time to focus on the contribution made by carers, and how important they are to local communities. It is also an opportunity to make sure that carers are connected to support and have other people to talk to about their experiences. See page 2 – 3 for more information and to find out what we are up to during the week.
