Carers Emergency Card
Should an emergency or accident happen, by carrying a Carers UK Carers Emergency Card will let emergency workers and others know that someone relies on you as a carer. The card provides spaces for emergency contacts, for example family or friends who can help.
NEWCIS Emergency Plan
We know your life as a carer may not always be smooth sailing. With this in mind, NEWCIS have created a Carers Emergency Plan.
All you need to do is complete the emergency plan, print it out and leave it with your important documents – or stick it on the fridge! If you would like a paper copy please contact us.
ICE Initiative
If you have a mobile phone you can add an ICE (In case of emergency) contact into your mobile phone address book.
Simply store the word ICE in your mobile phone address book and against it enter the number of the person you want to be contacted “in case of an emergency”.
