Has there been an impact on the scheme due to rising cost in fuel prices?
We are working with the local authorities to look at re-adjusting and increasing the code in line with rising costs.
Within the carers assessments, are they financially assessed?
No, but we can refer people to citizens advice to ensure they are getting all the benefits they are entitled to.
Can any unpaid carer access the scheme even if they work?
Yes, even if a carer works full-time, they can get a code to access the scheme.
