NEWCIS is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors who meet on a regular basis to discuss, decide and review our strategies and policies, to receive reports and updates from our Chief Executive Officer. There are 11 Trustees on the NEWCIS board of directors. 6 of the Trustees have experience of caring responsibilities, 7 of the Trustees are in employment and 4 have now retired. The Boards  skills range from  accountants, teachers, commercial business people, social enterprise manager, local authority and health managers, a solicitor and a financial advisor

They are all extremely focused on the needs of carers and they are dedicated to supporting the team in driving and developing the services forward.
