The NEWCIS Trustees made the decision to buy the property to enable NEWCIS to provide subsidised breaks to unpaid carers registered with the service.
The majority of the furniture in the house has been sourced from our charity shops as we are always keen to support the environment and re-cycle goods where we can.
We hope you find the house has all you need in it to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable break for you and your family to take some time out and hopefully gain a well-earned break and take in the sea air in this fantastic location!

- NO visitors allowed who are not listed on the booking form
- Strict NO pets policy, excluding hearing dogs and guide dogs (which must be included on the booking form)
- NO parties. Music must be turned off by 10pm to respect the neighbours.

- Mid Week Break - Check In: Monday 3:30pm / Check Out: Thursday 11am
- Weekend Break - Check In: Friday 3:30pm / Check Out: Monday 11am
*A non-refundable deposit of £50 must be paid within 28 days to secure your booking or the dates will be released to someone else. Our team can discuss funding that may be available to you to support the cost of the break.
No dogs allowed except guide/hearing dogs – in such cases an additional charge of £25 will be required per dog due to extra cleaning requirements. Doggie bags must be taken and the garden clear of dog waste. Midweek (Monday to Thursday) breaks is the only option for people taking dogs as it allows the additional cleaning time. Please do not allow dogs on the beds.
There are two bedrooms one upstairs which accommodates a king size bed and a downstairs bedroom which can be offered as either two single beds or a Super king size bed. The house sleeps 4 in total.

- Thank you so much for this lovely break. The children have had a great time and especially loved Danger Point in Talacre and of course the arcades! The house is a perfect haven for carers to relax. Everything you need, clean and homely, spacious and relaxing, lovely garden too. Once again thank you for our break it was much needed after a very difficult 2 years.

You must be registered with NEWCIS to make a booking and have an up to date What Matters Conversation (Carer Needs Assesment).
The house is part of the Neighbourhood Watch scheme and to ensure we maintain the tranquillity and peace of the avenue, we do not allow visitors to the property who are not listed on the booking form. The Neighbourhood Watch are in contact with us and if they suspect that there are visitors or there are more than 2 cars at the property then we will be in touch with you to politely ask them to leave. This is to ensure the neighbours are not disturbed, to limit wear and tear on the property and for insurance purposes. We expect carers to leave the house in the condition you found it in. If the property has been damaged, dogs have stayed that we have not been informed about or items taken from the house, then you will be charged and unfortunately will not be offered the chance of taking any further breaks with us.
