Giving in memory Asking family, friends and colleagues to make a donation instead of flowers is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one. Every donation made is a tribute to your loved one and will have lasting benefits, helping NEWCIS support carers with their daily lives. “I wanted NEWCIS to benefit from the collection at my Dad’s funeral because they were a trusted friend to call upon when things got too much so I could support my Dad at home until he died. I wanted to give something back”. How to ask for in memory donations? If you would like to arrange In Memory Donations, your Funeral Director can advise you with the wording the Order of Service and any announcements. For example: “Family flowers only please. Donations in memory to NEWCIS” or “No flowers please, donations if desired to NEWCIS, 28-44 New Street, Mold, CH7 1NZ”. Making a Donation A donation can be made in a variety of ways: NEWCIS can provide funeral collection envelopes to help make donating easier By post with a cheque (payable to NEWCIS) or in person with cash With your Funeral Director Donate online Don’t forget to include who your donation is in memory of so we can thank every gift made and include your loved one in our memory page, should you wish.
