Deafblind UK is a national charity that has been supporting people with sight and hearing loss to live the lives they want for 90 years. If you or someone you know is affected by reduced sight and hearing, they can support you in a number of ways.

How they can support you

  • Monthly support and social groups in Rhyl and Wrexham - these include a range of guest speaks and activities such as arts and crafts
  • An outreach service to provide information and one-to-one support
  • Friendly calls to their members to check on their wellbeing
  • A befriending service for anyone with sight and hearing loss who feel lonely or isolated
  • Birthday / Christmas cards or phone calls
  • Quarterly magazine 'Open Hand' available in various accessible formats
  • Access to our helpline
  • Assisted fishing sessions during summer months
  • Free Deafblind awareness sessions
