Listening to the experiences of patients, service users and carers is a fundamental part of learning in the NHS. BCUHB has a mandatory responsibility to listen, learn and act from patients, service users and carers experience and feedback.
If you are a carer, and would like to have a voice on decisions that affect the health services that the person you care for receives, BCUHB would value your input. The Patient Experience Team are looking for a Carer Representative to participate in these meetings, and offer views, perspectives, and ideas on how services are delivered.
How much time is involved?
The time commitment is 2- 3 hours every two months.
How will I attend?
At the moment, where possible, they are encouraging people to use virtual methods, such as teams, skype, telephone. If you do not have access to this, please do not let this put you off. You can let them know your own individual needs, and they will do their very best to support you take part.
