The physiological and psychological benefits of prolonged laughter are well documented; stress reduction, improved immune system, better sleep, cardiovascular workout, mood boosting and help with chronic pain are just a few.

Laughter yoga is the practice of using voluntary laughter, real or faked, as a form of exercise.  It is suitable for all. The main requirement is a willingness to try – no lycra, good humour or fitness levels necessary. Laughter yoga is one of the most fun ways to look after your physical and mental wellbeing. Why not give it a go!

The sessions, held at NEWCIS in Rhyl, will be facilitated by a Healthy Carers Worker from Denbighshire County Council.
