Thanks to funding from the Transform Foundation we have been in the process of designing and creating a brand new fully interactive and informative website for carers since November! 

During that time, our CEO, Operational Managers, Communications Officer and Events Coordinator have been to London to meet Raising IT and attend a website strategy workshop to help build a sitemap, come up with content and page ideas and learn how to incorporate new features (online donations, booking onto courses and events, registering with NEWCIS) onto the website.

We hope that the new website will be a hub of information for unpaid carers providing advice and support in times of need as well as signposting to other useful external organisations. 

Our new website launch event at Northop College Business School was a success; carers came along with their own laptops and tablets as well as digital volunteers to help people get online. The Chief Executive Officer spoke about the process of the new website followed by a tour of the website and its new pages and features by the Communications Officer, Lucy and Events Coordinator, Helen.
