Carers tell us that getting a break is a great way to recharge their batteries. This break can be with or without the person they care for. This break can make a real difference, giving them chance to catch their breath and have a valuable change to their usual routine. 

To have a break from the routine of caring is so important to maintaining my own health,  this means I can continue to look after my daughter. Beryl

You can make a difference to a family today by donating to the carer breaks fund.

£5 can provide refreshments at a carers group for much needed TLC.

£10 can pay for a craft class for someone to spend a little time doing something they enjoy.

£20 can pay for someone to sit with the person they care for so the carer can meet up with friends.

£50 can pay for a day out.

£100 can provide a much needed overnight stay and break away from their usual routine.

£150 can provide a carer a grant to take a break and recharge.
